PHIXER for Discord / game voice + music: phone-speaker mono fold
Headphones can feel huge while Discord Stage guests, game-voice friends, and phone speakers thin bass, voice body, and stereo music beds. Discord and game-chat paths fold, compress, and re-encode. PHIXER is free stereo phase-repair (VST3/CLAP/AU · Win/Mac/Linux) from Riverflux Audio. Frequency-aware phase rotation for leftover L/R fights on stereo material. It is not a Discord bot, not a time-aligner, not a stereo widener, and not a substitute for polarity, delay matching, or a real mono / Discord / phone-speaker check. Three Discord / game-voice / phone collapse modes
- Discord Stage / server fold. Guests and listeners often hear a collapsed path. Mute wide FX briefly and re-check fold with Discord open.

Fast Discord / game-voice / phone audition (about 60 seconds)
- Sum L+R on the Discord / game-voice / OBS monitor bus. Listen to voice body, bass, and music under speech.
- A/B stereo vs mono. Note what disappears on fold: S and SH consonants, kick thump, wide game beds under VO.
- Open a Discord Stage or game-voice call briefly. Mute wide FX / Haas / side-heavy verbs. Note which path thins the Discord / phone fold.
- Confirm on a phone speaker or single earbud, then again after any limiter / encoder / stream export pass, not only before cleanup.
Honest order of fixes (before spectral phase rotation)
1. True mono / L+R listen on the Discord / phone path
Hard L+R sum on the voice / stream bus, then again on a phone speaker. Habit: mono compatibility checklist and the 60-second audition above.
2. Polarity if a path flips
Dual mics, Discord return vs local mic, dual-PC return, game-capture vs voice. Flip polarity when body returns. Guide: polarity vs phase.
3. Timing / delay-align before spectral tools
Nudge dual mics, Discord returns, dual-PC beds, and game-audio delay a few ms. Spectral rotation is not a substitute for timing.
4. Prefer correlated voice and lows for Discord / phone

5. Only then phase check with PHIXER
